Real-Time Streaming

Distribute audio/video media from

one room to another, or to any

number of rooms – in real-time to

multiple destinations.

The IP network represents the

pathway to all connected

electronics, from playback devices

to displays. The Encoder and

Decoder do all the work, getting

audio/video from point A to B and

beyond, over this same network.

Encoder

The Encoder does just that. It

encodes in real-time analog

audio/video content like DVD and VCR into digital MPEG2/4 formats

that can then be transported across the IP network. Compatible with

Modero VG Touch Panel series and MAX-CSD10 Decoder.

Decoder

The Decoder does just that. It decodes digital MPEG2/4 into analog

audio/video content formats that can then be displayed for viewing.

NetLinx Compatible

The Encoder and Decoder will integrate with any NetLinx Control

System for efficiency and ease of use.

Retrofit-Friendly

Have CAT-5 cable already in place, but now you want to add video

capability? Simply install the Encoder in the equipment rack – one

for each device you want to stream, install a Decoder at every display

device – and connect them all over Ethernet. Now you can send video

signals from the DVD player, VCR player and other local devices

without any additional wiring.

Local Control

Each encoder and decoder includes both a local IR port and serial port

for device control so the encoder can play/stop/pause the VCR that is

streaming the video. And the decoder can power on the plasma when

it receives a video stream.

One To Many

The Encoder/Decoder combine to provide multicast delivery of Composite

or S-Video for viewing on displays such as plasma screens, projectors and

AMX Modero VG Series Touch Panels.

Many To One

This Encoder/Decoder solution combines to deliver multiple video streams

of Composite or S-Video for previewing, selecting, and viewing on AMX

Modero VG Series Touch Panels and displays such as plasma screens or

projectors.

Many To Many

This Encoder/Decoder Solution enables the delivery of multiple content

streams to multiple rooms, all on the same IP network.

The Encoder and Decoder reside on an IP network to allow users the ability

to stream real-time video to multiple rooms. Surveillance camera feeds and

DVD/VCR signals, for example, can broadcast through televisions, plasma

screens, projectors or AMX Modero Touch Panels. With digital distribution,

media can be sent to numerous display devices in different locations with no

degradation in signal quality that occurs with other analog distribution

methods.
