• IT Friendly Features

o Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Support

Allows IT administrators to execute remote diagnostics,

manage performance and plan for network growth – all in

a clear, definitive and intuitive format.

o Redundant Server with Failover Support

To minimize server downtime, RMS will enable the

deployment of several redundancy or backup methods to

protect your data.

o Security Enhancements

Includes support for Windows Authentication for simplified

network login. Users’ views and privileges may be managed

by an administrator to prevent unauthorized access or

control. IPSec, the new security standard for the Internet,

provides data source authentication, data integrity,

confidentiality, and protection against replay attacks using

Windows Server 2003 and NetLinx NI-X100 Series

Controllers.

• Customized User Interface

Provides each user the ability to create their own unique,

personalized RMS home page with a preference of window

views. A customized interface allows users to more efficiently

manage their time while supporting their role in monitoring the

network.

• Advanced Help Desk

Remotely control any networked device via the RMS web

interface when equipment is left unattended or someone

requires help operating equipment. Broadcast messages to

groups of rooms and have them appear on the room panels.
