Installation
1.
Typically the
RAN
[
xx
]
VS
[
yy
] itself will not be set up in the field and the steps detailed
here will not need to be carried out by field personnel. These instructions are provided
for reference purposes.
Warning: Before
handling the
control card,
discharge static
electricity from
your clothes or
body by touching a
metal surface or
using a grounding
strap.

If it is not already mounted, mount the
RAN

] into the rack.
3.
Remove the control card b

have two sets of
DIP
switches labeled “Baud Rate” and “Stat/Bus.” Usin
